Listen to Deborah's interview with DC native Scott Crawford talk about his documentary Salad Days and his new book Spoke.

Scott will be at Barnes & Noble and Politics and Prose in February 2017 and we will be there too!

Nov. 14, 2016
We had a great live conversation with local documentarian and writer Scott Crawford. His new book, Spoke, is a companion piece to his critically acclaimed Salad Days, an exciting history of the remarkable 80s punk movement in DC. In a town know for square lawyers and buttoned up bureaucrats, bands like the Bad Brains, Fugazi, and Government Issue spoke truth to power. Loud. We also honored Leonard Cohen and Leon Russell – two more VIP RIPs in 2016.
